Engage, inspire, and excite – that’s my ‘MO’ for everything I write, whether it’s a one-off press release or content for a strategic campaign. With more than 20 years’ PR and media relations experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, I will work with clients to increase brand engagement by building a connection through well-messaged media coverage that is memorable.
My experience with well-known charity brands has been in campaigning and public affairs, fundraising and projects with corporate partnerships.

Charity single in aid of The Children’s Trust
During the pandemic, Elaine Paige OBE released Sing a Rainbow, a charity single in aid of The Children’s Trust. As the project manager, I worked with a team to involve children the charity had supported and deliver record-breaking broadcast coverage including Lorraine, ITV Anglia News and The One Show

RNIB’s new signature participation event
To launch RNIB’s brand new mass participation campaign, Read of RNIB Day, we created a three day pop-up on the bank of the River Thames. Bringing to life the story of Alice in Wonderland through senses rather than words, I secured press coverage in The Guardian, Londonist, Time Out, Metro, Third Sector to name a few.

Reactive PR influencing policy change
Whilst at Mencap, I brought the case of Fiona Pilkington and Francecca Hardwick to the attention of campaign managers. My response was featured in every national newspaper and broadcast interviews described as a watershed moment for disability hate crime. See The Telegraph, Metro, Independent, and the Daily Mirror.
Take a look at some of my past projects:
- The Children’s Trust featured in the Daily Mirror – Doctors said we had 30 minutes left with our Daughter
- Young Epilepsy featured in the Independent – Britons show Victorian attitudes to epilepsy
- Case study for The Extraordinary Music Box Appeal, The Sun
- Mencap featured in The Guardian – Snapshots of everyday life
- RNIB featured in The Guardian – RNIB celebrates 75 years of Talking Books
- RNIB featured in The Telegraph – Although blind, my son still likes to read books
- BBC Children in Need
- BBC Lifeline with Martin Kemp
- BBC Radio 4 Appeal with Joely Richardson
